I am a PhD student in the Taghon lab, investigating the different human thymus seeding progenitor subsets and exploring their potential to differentiate into T and non-T cells within the thymus. My research employs computational approaches such as single cell multiomics to uncover the transcriptional and phenotypic differences between these progenitor subsets. Prior to joining the Taghon lab, I obtained a master’s degree in Bioinformatics from the South African National Bioinformatics Institute, where I focused on neurodegenerative diseases, and subsequently worked as a data scientist in industry.
